I made it to the basketball game, it was definitely very entertaining and relaxing. I for some reason looked at this game differently this time, each player so to speak communicated effectively with their teammates and collectively aimed for the basket. After which, as most commonly, they complimented, praised and constructively criticized each other. It didn’t matter which team was winning, it was more like they indirectly polished each other. Very artistic creative and rewarding.
And I sat there thinking, that’s how life really works. After reading a few different articles and a couple of books this week, I learned that most times what makes your own team different is ‘your will to be better than you were yesterday, your impact on others, and to spend little or no time making others your competition’. It is the end goal that eventually matters, for each individual. In other words, it is very rewarding when you choose your competition wisely.
Sticky note: Is my competition healthy? Does it polish me?
TWO OUTFITS LATER, I threw this on. I was feeling free and I wanted to wear something free and fun. I’m wearing this fun crop top along with this playful high-waisted black skirt.
