How are you guys doing?
Have you been into grandpa’s, grandma’s or even mom and dad’s closet just yet? Sometimes they have no use for some of their old school collection anymore. It’s pretty amazing the rad amount of treasures you’ll find in there. O those old clothes I tell you you can turn into some goody goodies.
I’m not an expert on retro-styling at all, but this post and the next will help you have more choices in working out your wardrobe or incorporating your retro pieces
Tip: With Vintage or Thrift shopping
One thing I remember and always say is don’t judge vintage clothing by how it looks on a hanger, try it on. Hundreds of customers may have tried it but it didn’t work out them for some reason. Then comes the moment you try it on, and you go ‘A-ha’ I didn’t think it’ll look good on me. Also you don’t have to look like the next person, be comfortable mixing your own pieces together, you carry it better that way.
More tips and details on retro styling in my next post! I’m sure you’ll learn something new
